Emma Crawford Casket Races 2004
Every year in Manitou Springs they commemorate a citizen named Emma Crawford
whose coffin was unearthed during a torrential rain a few years back and
subsequently washed down the mountain cemetery and into the actual town of
Manitou. The yearly event is marked by the Emma Crawford Coffin Races which is
one of two festivals held in Colorado centered around a dead person, no crap. For a video of the races, CLICK HERE The full lineup of hearses attending. Anthony and families ride.
