Restoration!!!

Abby outside of Hearse House. This is after removing the 394 Engine and dropping it neatly into the trunk of the Delta 88 who was now donating it's engine to Abby.

In the rear yard during removal of paint. This is by far the longest experience of my life.

Jason going at it with the dual action sander. Both Big Jason and One Way Jay spent about 8 hours a day or more with me on this project, for which I am eternally grateful.

Jason inspects our handiwork on the rear quarter panel.

Showing Jason proper use of my 'Tool'

What we found under the chrome on the rear quarter panels. Funny story: While cutting the rust out, we uncovered several items that had somehow become stuck in my fender, including 3 safety pins, some loose change, several razor blades, 1 screw driver, and 1 Barney (that purple ass dinosaur) tippy cup. Don't ask how the hell that got there. I am still trying to figure that one out.

Still working. More pics soon.

Me, covered in that funky dust that comes off your car when you are sanding 6 to 8 layers of paint off. At the end of every day me, my friends, and the backyard where covered in this dust, along with used sandpaper, razors, used paper towels, food waste, wrappers, tape and other such refuse. My yard looked like a scene from the day after a nuclear fallout.
